I originally started writing my thoughts on Goodbye 2019, Hello 2020 in last week’s SinfulSunday post but feel I started rambling on so I ended up creating one instead. As a rule, I tend not to do these kind of posts because I end up writing lots of things I want to achieve and when I don’t, it makes me feel like a complete failure so instead, I opt for the whole attitude “well, I didn’t pen it so it doesn’t exist” but truth be told regardless if I pen those thoughts are or not, I still feel the same so I have decided to take a new approach this year.
*Set goals that I can actually achieve*
But first, let’s take a look back to my 2019
The biggest and most amazing part of it from a blog point of view was getting attending Eroticon. I wrote about that experience, which you can check out here ( there are many, many posts). Honestly, it was incredible – I still get the odd flashback memory but one of my most favourite moments will forever be in the couches in the Holiday Inn. I was like a kid who snuck up on Santa and sat there listening to him tell me his stories except I was, in fact, listening to Molly, Girl on the Net, Hy and Marie banter away. I actually felt for the first time in years I was part of something magical. My other favourite moment was Friday night meet and greet. I finally got to meet Bee and it felt like I was hugging someone I see regularly. Bee kept me sane in the weeks coming up to Eroticon. I really don’t think she knows it but Bee somehow gave me the confidence in myself to relax. We sat on that couch and giggled like two naughty schoolgirls while Bee’s OH sat close enough to keep an eye on Bee’s behaviour but not close enough to hear us. We continued on into the main function room where the chats continued and we were joined by Julie and her OH. Many giggles were had that night and… I really could keep bantering on, honestly read my posts if you are even slightly considering going. It is worth every penny, cent or euro.
I have read other folks round-up posts so while I don’t really take much interest in my stats and such, it’s time to go dipping into what drew my readers in this year 🙂

I placed again in the Kinkly list, in Molly’s top 100 and in Wookie’s naughty list. I also made Marie’s top 20 and May’s More 24 list for the first time.
So as mentioned previously the big one for me this year is to write more. Less reviews will be a big part of my 2020. Now don’t read that as I won’t be doing them because they were and still are a big part of my blog but they won’t *be* my blog. 2019 saw my real life being spun off in different directions and me tagging behind it trying to keep up. So 2020 will see me kicking its arse as I am going to (well, I am trying to be) a hell of a lot more organised.
So expect to see a different side to my writing as I challenge myself by throwing myself into memes. Hello, Food for Thought *waves* – this is my first post here but it won’t be my last 🙂 I plan to pop up more frequently in other memes too. However, I am still very much on sitting on the “no erotica from LSB fence” so expect to read more about well, more about me! I plan to dust off my BDSM section too – not really sure where that section will go just yet. The last post on there spoke about inflicting pain on myself so I might dip into that more. I do know I will be talking about learning to self-tie on there as well as trying to (?) photograph it so that is another new thing coming from me!
My blog is 4 this year so I have decided to revamp it. Unsure when that will happen/ new site going live etc but it will happen this year sometime.
And finally last but not least, it absolutely kills me to even type this, genuinely my eyes are actually starting to well up but we will not be attending Eroticon this year. I have tried to make it work but sadly it just isn’t feasible. It is super expensive for us to get there. Last year, I saved everything I made from the blog and managed to secure sponsorships (again thank you Sheets of San Franciso and Doxy <3 ). It managed to pay for the accommodation, tickets and flights. We topped up the funds ourselves for spending money. To be honest, I am not even sure I could find someone to mind for the kids for us so all in all, the odds are against us.
However, the money I have saved already will go towards getting a new laptop – this one is on the verges of dying daily so thank you for shopping through my links 🙂 You guys are the reason I get to keep writing.
Oh and I plan to read more. I have set myself the realistic goal of a book a month, with a hope of more. I started back on the book bus last night ( I am reading the Dark-Hunter series for those who are curious) and I am already a 1/4 the way through the book… in fact when I publish this I am off to read it! I am loving reading again so hopefully, I can maintain the speed! And finally, use my camera more – go off on more outdoor adventures…
If you are still reading, thank you for listening to my rambles… Thank you for being a part of my 2019 and I hope you stay with me for 2020. <3
Oh and by the way, it is my image that is being used for inspo this Masturbation Monday, I am dying to read what it inspires 🙂
