OhMiBod Esca 2 – bluetooth wearable vibrator

The OhMiBod Esca 2 is the first toy I have tried from either of the companies that are responsible for making it – OhMiBod and Kiiroo. It reminds me very much of the Lovense Lush, a toy I have wanted to try for long time but after trying the Lovense Osci was left wanting more so I picked the OhMiBod Esca 2 with hope.

A take on your typical vaginal love egg vibrator toy with a difference – yip, none of those wires hanging where you have to control it via a plastic battery box you normally associate with egg style toys. The OhMiBod Esca 2 is an interactive, innovative vaginal use toy that can be controlled for any room in the house, while you’re at work or even the other side of the world.

On opening the box, I automatically spotted the charger. Whoever over at OhMiBod or Kiiroo thought of putting that name label on it, – I LOVE YOU – This should be mandatory across all companies. Oh, I can’t even begin to explain the bundle of chargers that look similar to a huge tumbleweed ball – ugh. I started off with good intentions as a blogger, I really did but now they live in a big bag in a ball :/ This charger reminds me I really need to get my ass in gear and suss out what belongs to what so anyway, again, thank you! You are a super clever human and more companies *need* to follow suit!

Also inside the box of the OhMiBod Esca 2, you’ll get a satin storage bag, authenticity card and an instruction booklet. I would recommend at this point downloading the OhMiBod app from the play store or the Apple store!

If you are a regular reader here, you will already know I absolutely hate apps which basically nearly ask your phone number to work. I have used so many toys where I point blank refuse to use because they ask for wayyyyy to much information from me and after all that, are usually crap!

Well, you can rejoice – enter the OhMiBod Esca 2 – they don’t ask for anything and aren’t invasive. On top of that, the app that powers this toy is the most responsive app I have ever used. I have tried to confuse it, flick super-fast between screens etc to see if it would crash but honestly, I am so impressed. We both are.

When the app opens it, you get a choice of playing locally or remotely – locally is beside you and remotely is wherever. To use the locally part of the app, an account isn’t required, it is, however, required to use it remotely – which is understandable as you need it to be secure.

You also have an option yo keep track of your orgasms using a feature on the app called The Oh! Dometer. From the OhMiBod website – “The Oh! Dometer is a fun and flirty way of logging and tracking your orgasms over time and even set weekly goals. When connected to your partner, you may even send an alert to your partner that you achieved an Orgasm—and send a note to them from our selection of stock messages or create your own. The Oh! Dometer will track and chart your orgasms over time.”

The whole experience using the app has been very easy, stressfree and fun – I would really recommend it! The Esca 2 can also be used with other Kiiroo products, however, I haven’t been able to try that as I don’t own any.

From the Kiiroo website –

“Esca2™ has 3 Bluetooth settings:

Full motor intensity and full LED light

Half the motor intensity (for webcam models) and full LED lights

For the regular user; full motor strength and NO LED light

So if you prefer more discrete play, the LED light on Esca2™ can be turned off, letting you wear Esca2™ wherever and whenever you please.”

But you’ve not mentioned the vibrations of the OhMiBod Esca 2?

The OhMiBod Esca 2 has 3 preset intensity levels and 2 pulsation patterns. The vibrations produced by the Esca 2 are actually quite rumbly and the preset vibrations are really quite enjoyable. However, for me personally, it is *all* about making my own and being able to power it up and slow it down as I feel the need and boy, does it feel good. The shape of the OhMiBod Esca 2 means it can be slipped in easily with a slick of water-based lube and can be worn for long periods of time because it is completely non-intrusive. The silicone is velvety soft and I found it to be non-draggy, even after long periods of wear. The shape zones in on my g-spot quite well, it doesn’t, however, cause g-spot orgasms but I didn’t expect it to – I need to thrust with a curved toy for that – however, all is not lost!! This toy very much warms me up and gets me super excited.

Overall, we both are extremely impressed with the OhMiBod Esca 2 – an extremely responsive app-controlled toy that is body-safe, produces decent, rumbly vibrations and has an app that doesn’t ask me to sign my life away with permissions <3 Thank you OhMiBod and Kiiroo!!

I would like to take the opportunity to thank SheVibe for sending me the OhMiBod Esca 2 in exchange for an honest and impartial review – this however in no way changes my opinion on the item. What I honestly think, you read! All images displayed of OhMiBod Esca 2 are taken by myself.

For anal play ? Most definitely not. This is designed strictly for vaginal use as it hasn’t got a flared base. I do have an anal safe toy review coming up soon though 🙂
