JimmyJane Focus Sonic Vibrator Review

posted by LSB February 26, 2019 0 comments

I have spent far too much time procrastinating instead of typing up my feels on the JimmyJane Focus because in hope that if I keep delaying the process I might have a change of heart but no matter how I try (and trust me, I have tried) I just ain’t gonna love this toy and that’s that.

I have only ever tried a JimmyJane candle so I have no other experience previously with JimmyJane toys so I have nothing really to compare the Focus to but then again the real comparison here is the Zumio which is based on the same idea as the JimmyJane Focus.

The JimmyJane Focus is a sonic vibrator which operates at a super high frequency and apparently has the ability to deliver 31,000 vibrations per minute. That’s 516.66 per second!!! And I have no idea what frequency it is running on because I really don’t like it.

But before I explain my experiences I wanna talk a little about the Focus first. The Focus, unlike the Zumio is supplied with 3 silicone tips. It is rechargeable and is charged via a pin style charge which needs to be pushed into the silicone and this then reseals once the pin is removed. Usually this method of charging would suggest the toy is waterproof to me but unfortunately, that isn’t the case with the Focus, it is in fact only splashproof. Charging up the toy should take 90 minutes for a full charge and this provides 60 minutes of playtime. I cannot confirm that to be accurate or not as I really haven’t used it that long to know :/ I find the Focus easy to hold and operate. There are 4 intentisty levels and it is easy to navigate through them all with one hand and without having to lose connection with skin – prob the best feature this toy has!

As I mentioned above the JimmyJane Focus is supplied with three silicone tips – each tip is designed to do something different. Below is a little snippet of info from the Shevibe site explaining about each tip.

Caress – textured stimulation (Brush)

More than one hundred silky, soft bristles quiver with sonic vibration to deliver gentle, caressing arousal.

Aim – pinpoint pleasure (Pointy)

Created for direct stimulation exactly where you place the delicate, resonating tip.

Embrace – surround vibrations (Cup)

Cups your clitoris, nipples, or other contoured erogenous areas for all-encompassing vibrations.

Personally, for me, they all feel the same but if I had to preference one – I prefer the Aim as I like how pinpointed the vibrations feel with it.

The biggest downfall for me with the JimmyJane Focus is the noise. Below is a link to my Twitter, where I demonstrate the difference between with and without the silicone tips. It really is a super loud toy and loudness aside I actually prefer the sensations without the silicone tips.

The only part of my body that enjoys the feeling the JimmyJane Focus produces is my nipples and they love it. Simply because it feels like a 1000 teeth chomping quite viciously at them.

Imagine that sensation on a clit? Well, I guess some folk might enjoy that but sadly, for me, it really does nothing except desensitize me and really piss me off ://  I have really tried to see if I can get this toy to work for me but I just can’t. Sorry, JimmyJane but it’s a no from me.

If you want you can get your own Focus here from Shevibe

I would like to take the opportunity to thank SheVibe for sending me the JimmyJane Focus in exchange for an honest and impartial review – this however in no way changes my opinion on the item. What I honestly think, you read! All images displayed of JimmyJane Focus are taken by myself.
