Hey all – this week has been somewhat of an emotional, mental draining rollercoaster. I’m not sure if you spotted (more than likely due to my retweeter you haven’t) but I haven’t been as active on Twitter the last few days.
There are many reasons behind this but the main one is my head wasn’t able to word replies to folk, to engage or care about anyone else except the people that live under my roof. A family member and I use that word lightly because I give no fucks regarding the person it involved, ended up creating a horrible atmosphere and as a result, the effects rippled throughout my entire family (the ones that live under my roof) which ended up in one of us needed out of hours doctor. No one was physically hurt by the way (just in case) but I rather not dip completely into it. I guess this week I decided to share a bit more about me and my ongoings.
As a result, I was sat in bed this morning being thankful for the little things and took this little snap. The little bow really makes these knickers and sometimes we don’t always take a second to appreciate it. I know I don’t.
All this has made me look a life a little different and I am very much appreciating the little things and thankful for all the good people in my life.

The bow on the knickers is cute Hope you’re ok
Sometimes the little things are indeed the big things, although often overlooked. Beautiful image that creatively expresses your writing.
A stunning pic, you are right it is often the small things we overlook that make a difference. Thanks for the reminder, I hope things take a turn for the better for you. Stay strong xx.
Oh sweetie – families! – you can do it! Gorgeous girl – gorgeous image too 😉 xx HUGS
I love the symbolism of that tiny flash of color as a ray of hope… sending you warm wishes that your roller coaster slows its roll. xx
Sorry you’ve had a shitty week.
This image is glorious.
Being thankful is always a good feeling… wonderful image!!
A lovely photo. Sorry you’ve had a bad week, sadly we can’t choose family!
Julie is right . . . we can’t choose our family, or the complications they often bring. But yes there is always other things, friends and interests, to be thankful and grateful for.
And this is such a lovely photo to celebrate those “other things” with !!!
Xxx – K
Sorry you’ve had a rotten time. If only life was as sweet and lovely as your gorgeous photo. It has rather melted my heart. CPxx

Oh my that sounds stressful. You are right about the little things though, it is so easy to miss them but they are often the most important things

Sorry to hear of the discomfort caused, Switch. I do like your bow.
I am sorry to be so late to see this, and for your domestic stress. I hope that it can be resolved with no further hospital visits and a return to peace in your house. Your image is, as always, lovely and I hope those small felicities heal larger wounds xx
Aw, we love you even if your family don’t! Never mind them if they’re being horrible. Save your energy for more important people and things hun.
Glad you’re having a better time now. xxx
