Sola Hop Rabbit Vibrator Review

posted by LSB April 20, 2018 0 comments

Last week (or maybe a bit longer), I had the pleasure of reviewing the Cue. The Sola Hop, in my opinion, is a better-upgraded version of the Cue – I’d actually go as far as saying the Hop is perfection. Quite a rather bold statement to make but yes, the Sola Hop really deserves that title.

If you read my Cue review, you’ll already know how it performs, however, if you didn’t I am gonna explain it all again as the Hop is really a Cue with ears.

But first what’s in the box?

I will admit I find the aesthetic of the Sola packaging to be rather awesome – the pretty pastel ombre colours are just super cute. All the Sola toys I’ve tried so far have been packaged in this way and all the outer packaging has been kept and recycled as cute storage boxes!

Inside, you’ll find your Hop nestled on a plastic, molded tray. Underneath the tray, there are instructions, an antibacterial storage pouch, USB charger cable and a plug all individually boxed in cardboard.. Awesome touch but sadly isn’t much good to me as I live in a three prong plug country. I still think it’s an awesome addition though! As I mentioned in my other reviews, while I like how it looks I still feel it’s excessive from a packaging point of view.

To charge your Hop, you simply attach the included magnetic charger to the metal disc located on the dark bit at the end of the toy. Again, like the Cue, the connection is a bit temperamental so make sure while it’s charging it’s placed on a level surface otherwise you risk losing connection. The playtime for Sola Hop equals the charging time – 1.5 hours charge = 1.5 hours playtime and I find this to be accurate. I’ve had quite a lot of playtime with the Hop and I’ve only needed to recharge it once. To be fair though, it really doesn’t take much time to get me off using this toy!

The Hop is coated in body safe silicone and is 100%waterproof. It has 10 settings – 5 steady and 5 patterns. There isn’t an option to decrease/increase the speeds of these settings. You power on/off the toy using the – minus and you also use the +/- buttons to flick through the settings. These buttons also to go forward or back if you like the previous setting. Awesome feature by the way – *thumbs up* I wish more toys included this – Yes, I’m looking at you, Tango!

So why I hear you ask, do I consider the Sola Hop to be perfection?

Ok, the Cue, I know, I know, I’m off on about the Cue again but they are so similar it’s hard not to! The Cue is full to the brim of really deep, bone-rattling vibrations and while I enjoy the vibrations that bulbous head gives my g-spot – the Cue just didn’t have the lip on the head I need to coax my g-spot to come. So while the Cue always gave me serious good foreplay it was never enough to get me over the finish line and I needed external clit stim to get there.

The Hop, however, has three motors – Oh yes – THREE!!!

This means one in the head and each ear has its own motors – THREE! This is why the Sola Hop is my version of perfection. Three rumbly motors caress my body and brings me to orgasmic bliss – every single time I have used this toy. Those ears are so flexible, they mold to my body. It really doesn’t matter how soft or hard I thrust the Hop I know it won’t lose contact and as I result, my mind can concentrate on pleasure. I really think it will take something extraordinary to knock this toy off its new spot – No.1 rabbit I’ve used to date!

The Sola Hop was sent to me review in exchange for an honest and impartial review from Peepshow Toys. This however in no way changes my opinion on the items. What I honestly think, you read!  All images displayed of the Sola Hop are taken by myself!
