Review: My experiences with a Pussy Pump

posted by LSB March 30, 2018 3 Comments

Curiosity got the better of me when I signed myself up to test out this Pussy Pump. I’ve seen them featured on many websites and read articles about them and their benefits so let’s see how we got on.

First things first – that box is horrible! I don’t like the packaging though I guess it nails it from a showcasing point of view. Me personally, I find it completely unnecessary! Inside the box, which can be discarded asap and was once I took pictures, you’ll get the pump which comes in three separate pieces you’ll need to assemble. All the bits are hygienically wrapped, which is great for peace of mind. There’s the tubing, the bulb of the pump and the plastic cover which covers me – first impression suggests it looks quite big for my anatomy.

So for those who don’t know what a pussy pump is or what it does – let me tell you all about as well as some tips for safe usage

• Well, the main reason people use a pump is to increase blood flow to the area. This can be for various reasons but the main one is because increased blood flow means the area will be extra sensitive. Another is the overall aesthetic of it – people enjoy the swollen lip look and last but I’m sure not least is the BDSM factor. Pumps can be a fine line between pain and pleasure and from a BDSM perspective, it could and is used as pain/humiliation tool. However, this wouldn’t really be our kink so the pump was mainly used for increased sensitivity and from an aesthetic perspective as we were both curious about how I would look.

• The main tip I can give you is measure yourself well before you buy one! I didn’t – I looked at it and thought that would fit and really thought nothing else of it until I pulled it from the box. First thoughts were “Shite!” – automatically it was clear it was too big and I was about to find how that would affect use.

• Next tip is to trim or shave your bikini line as this will help form a better seal – however, I have tried both ways and it isn’t necessary to make the pump function. But it does help it form a seal better.

• Last but not least is a little lube around the rim of the cup( and your body) will help the suction.

As you can see from the images – the cup of this pump is quite large is it does take a little fiddling around to get it into position. To sit comfortably, all of my pubic mound needs to be in the cup. I’m pretty certain this slightly defeats the purpose of what I’m trying to achieve from a sensation point of view because a lot of my clitoris gets buried – anyway, we shall continue on.

Once in position, the cup needs to be pushed firmly against the skin while you squeeze the bulb as this helps the seal form. The seal will hold so it’s up to you if you keeping squeezing. On the bulb, you’ll see a little button. This is the air release valve so at any point you feel like the sensation is too much or the pressure hurts – press down on the button and you’ll feel the pump ‘let go’ a little or a lot depending on if you keep the button held.

It takes time to get a swollen appearance and to really feel any effects. For example, latching the pump on and pumping away for 10 minutes isn’t going to get the result you are after. It needs to be done slowly over 30 minutes or so. Also, pumping and releasing will keep encouraging blood flow to the area which wil help you get the desired effect.

So the main question  – how did *this* pussy pump work for us?

Well, it did and it didn’t.

From an aesthetic point of view, it did. A lot more of me was required to fill the cup that should really be needed. As a result, it could (and did) hurt me if it wasn’t positioned correctly. I’d rather more of my pubic mound in the cup rather than going further down and getting my perineum in it. While I’m sure this is someone’s kink – it’s not mine. It hurt like a MOFO and not in a good way either. So I can promise I won’t be repeating that bit again lol.

Using the pussy pump correctly will cause some level of pain in a pleasurable way. It is a mix of pressure and I think the mind. You expect to the hurt but it’s a heady mix of being turned on, pain and the overall kink feel to the situation. Well, that’s the best way I can think of describing it.

I am definitely interested in trying a pump which fits my anatomy better as I do feel from a sensitivity point of view the sizing didn’t allow me to achieve what I wanted. I think a pump would work better with more of my clitoris exposed. I wanted to be sensitive to the point where a feather rubbed against would make me squirm but sadly, that didn’t happen.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank Orion for sending me the You2Toys Pussy Pump in exchange for an honest and impartial review this however in no way changes my opinion on the item. What I honestly think, you read! All images displayed of the You2Toys Pussy Pump are taken by myself!

This is spooky, I’ve had one of these a few months, and was thinking this morning I wonder if me wearing the pump would make an interesting Sinful Sunday picture! I love the suction, pulling sensation but haven’t yet had OH’s feedback on whether this makes me tighter (which was a goal!) Great review LSB.

As a pump user… i can relate to this review… pumps are made in a specific way… whereas human bodies are all different… so fitting them  correctly can be a real bitch!

The results can be quite amazing if used correctly with patience and perseverance.

Its allot of trial and error this enhancement stuff… but for me it has certainly paid off…

The device weather its a male or female pump cannot be used or enjoyed to its full potential after a single use… keep trying and im sure it will pay off!!! It has for me loved your review

I tried many, many times with this before I wrote the review – it’s too big for my body, sadly.
