Day 15 – Self Portrait – FebruaryPhotoFest

by LSB

Not really sure what a self-portrait shot can be unless I’m sharing my face. I guess it’s how you see yourself and when I thought about sharing a self-portrait shot, this is picture I took a few months back popped straight into my head.

I like this shot of me – initially when I look at it, I admire it. Then a few minutes will pass and I’ll start to pluck away the bits of good and start to find negatives. It’s strange – I do it all the time. I love how my ass looks but then is it too big? I love the curvature of where my legs and ass meet – but the wrinkles on my legs suggest cellulite. I love my boobs in it but wish they were like that now. All the same – I still like this picture so I guess it works as my self-portrait.

I think it is a stunning shot and you have a beautiful body. I really love the little crease at your waist

Works for me. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Who needs words with this portrait?

Beautiful shot. And I don’t think your face needs to be in it to be a self portrait. Xx

I like it. And no, your ass isn’t too big. 🙂

Kudos for sharing your vulnerabilities! Loving or even accepting our bodies, flaws and all, as is, can be a long journey. <3
