I will admit what got me interested in this We-Vibe Tango Pleasure Mates set originally was the shape of the Glow. It oozed G-spot pleasure to me. Now the question is – was I right?
I have had the pleasure of a few We-Vibe products and We-Vibe are a company I associate with quality, class and most importantly – really rumbly toys. Their Nova has changed my opinion on rabbit style vibrators and their Rave Gspot vibe has gave me many leg jellifying orgasms.
I already knew greatness was underneath the lid of the We-Vibe Tango Pleasure Mate box before I even opened it as you may have already read my review, I already own the Tango. A bullet that has yet to be beaten and I seriously love it. It’s a deserted desert island toy so if you don’t already own it, you need to be updating your toybox now.
So when you lift the lid, you’ll be greeted with:
A Tango (Pearl)
‘Glow’ attachment (Pink)
‘Dusk’ attachment (Grey)
USB charging cable
The pearl coloured Tango is bloody gorgeous. I own the pink version already – not a great lover of pink but it’s a case of ‘who cares really’ because well – It’s a Tango!
To revisit my Tango review, I mentioned how I really hated the Tango at the start because I found it too powerful – I chuckled typing that as that is no longer an issue and in fact, I bloody love it! Some things still remain though, if I remember correctly I explained how I was only able to tolerate on high settings once I used it a few times on lower settings first and this is still the case if I am using the Tango on it’s own.
This We-Vibe Tango Pleasure Mate set gives you more versatility with your Tango – allowing you to dress it up and give it a new house so to speak. These houses come the shape of the Glow and the Dusk. Two super smooth, velvety soft silicone attachments.
Above I mentioned I really wanted to test this set because I loved the shape of the Glow and yes, I was right. It does work for me. Well, it does and it doesn’t. If I were to completely depend on the need for internal stimulation, the Glow case needs does insulate the vibrations. However, weak internal vibrations when a toy has a shape like the Glow does isn’t really an issue for me. I quite enjoy the mild rumble that travels though because that beautiful curve does everything I need it to.
I do however have my issues with Glow – for one, the head is slightly too flexy meaning I really have to work it to achieve orgasm and several times, I’ve gotten lazy and just wooped the Tango outta it and settled for a rumbly Tango orgasm instead. I feel if the handle was slightly longer I may not have to work so hard.
Also, included in the box is the Dusk. That grey knobbly looking thing is in fact a butt plug. The hoop at the top is designed to allow you to slip the Tango and the ring is designed in such a way, once it’s slipped in the silicone grips on and it doesn’t budge. Do I like the Dusk? Nope. Not really to be honest. It feels ok while wearing it without the Tango in place – nothing spectacular if I’m honest. I am an intermediate anal player so it would need to be bigger to get my attention. While the Tango is attached to it however is highly irritating. It feels like there is a wasp stuck in between my butt cheeks.
So overall is the We-Vibe Tango Pleasure Mates set worth it?
Yes and no! If you like strong internal vibrations then the Glow won’t work for you , if you are more than a beginner at anal play then the Dusk won’t for you. However, if you like curved dildo without internal stim and strong rumbly clit stim and are anal beginner, then this set is for you. Personally though, I don’t really think it’s worth the money. However, if you are willing to spend the price of this set – buy two tangoes. Everyone needs a second Tango.
This item was sent to me from We-Vibe in exchange for an honest and impartial review – this however in no way changes my opinion on the item. What I honestly think, you read! All images displayed of We-Vibe Tango Pleasure Mates set are taken by myself!
