Review: Eroscillator 2 Top Deluxe

The Eroscillator – The sex toy wanted and coveted by many. But is it really worth its hefty price tag?

Looking back to when I first got interested in sex toys, I remember looking at the Eroscillator and the curiosity building inside was something I hadn’t felt before. It looks like a medical device crossed with an electrical toothbrush. Not something you’d really want to put near your delicate bits but the talk and the reviews surrounding the Eroscillator made it something you lusted to play with it. Well, it did for me. At the time, clitoral orgasms was all my body could manage so new heights of clitoral pleasure was always welcomed and until now, dreamt about.

The Eroscillator doesn’t vibrate – it oscillates.  I had a huge piece written explaining the difference between oscillation and vibration after I trawled the internet for explanations but apparently, I was babbling. So instead, I’m here to tell you why it feels different instead.

The Eroscillator came well packaged – hygienically shrink wrapped so you have complete peace of mind you are its first user. Each attachment comes in a sealed clear bag. Overall, it arrived exactly how it is should be. The Eroscillator 2 top deluxe comes with  a storage pouch, 6 attachments and the plug that comes with it is the EU two pin version so I had to use an adapter. It has a chrome slider button on the front which slides up to increase intensities. The Eroscillator has three intensity levels. The power cable seems to go on forever – Eroscillator really do supply you with an extension lead worth of cable.

I was surprised when I first touched the Eroscillator attachments. Firstly, I had it in my head the entire toy and attachments were metal. I’m presuming this theory came about from the colour. The deep rich burgundy colour has a high metallic shine to it. I am however, very wrong as the attachments are actually kinda squishy, well with the exception of the marshmallow tip because that is really squishy. They are in fact made with body safe, non porous TPR. Now, I know TPR doesn’t usually have the best reputation when it comes to sex toys but Eroscillator supplied me with a report confirming this version is body safe, non porous, phtalates and PVC free. So now the body safe stuff was outta the way it was time for me to get acquainted with all 6 attachments. When putting the attachment into the Eroscillator, listen out for the click noise because they need to ‘click’ into place to work

The attachments: (can be used internally as well as externally):

Ultra Soft Finger tip
Golden Spoon
Seven Pearls of the Orient
French Legionnaire’s Moustache
The cup and Ball
The grapes and cock’s comb

Ultra Soft Finger tip:

Eroscillator

This one seems to be the most famous because of how squishy it is. I still remember the hype surrounding its release. Out of all the attachments this one claims to mimic human touch. It is completely watertight and can even be inserted.  It is really soft and is quite squishy and has earned the nickname the ‘marshmallow’. A huge favourite of most who have tried it however it isn’t my favourite attachment. While writing this, I am giggling. My OH was on a roll of smart assed rhymes for all the toys we used one night and kept saying “when something ultra soft gets you off” anytime he used this tip.

Golden Spoon

I like this used with light pressure, on the lowest setting and the Eroscillatorindent of the spoon cupping my clit. I find any bit of pressure with this attachment and it takes away the goodness of it. The nibs feels nice too maybe slight more pressure than the indented side. However, I enjoy it most when the very tip is used against my labia, stroking and teasing them.

Seven Pearls of the Orient

EroscillatorI love this tip used with firm pressure and slid all over my labia. It is divine. My OH used the tip on my clit and the last ball actually sat under my clitoral hood. Now, you would think it would be too much pressure for such a sensitive area but oddly, it works so well. He kept pinging it against my hood and the sensation kept increasing my stages of arousal. If  I had to pick a tip I loved on my own – I think this one would be my favourite

French Legionnaire’s Moustache

Eroscillator

We LOVE this attachment. Love love love it. There is so many ways it can be used. The bristles ‘fan’ you so if lightly held over my vulva, it creates a lovely cool sensation. This enhances the feeling of the bristles when they are actually held against the skin. The attachment doesn’t hurt well unless it is turned up full blast and used on my nipples and it is glorious. This attachment is the perfect foreplay attachment as it works wonderfully as an all over body tickler. We also both liked the very tip of the attachment. A real surprise. Using it as a couple, this would be our favourite tip.

The Ball and Cup

Eroscillator

According to the Eroscillator site, it “Can be used to induce erection on men and orgasmic response with the ball and cup head under the tip of the penis”. We however didn’t find that to be accurate. In fact reading my notes back as a type we both referred to this attachment “as a bit meh”.

The grapes and cock’s comb

Eroscillator

Oooooh another nasty nipple teaser. On high, the cock comb side feels as if someone is flicking my nipples with extreme force and I love it. It is where this attachment spent most of its time while being used. It didn’t feel particularly amazing on my clit but it didn’t bore me either. The grape side teamed up with lots of lube was quite enjoyable and I could tolerate that side on the higher side on my clit.

There is so much choice with Eroscillator and if you’re a tech geek like my OH you’ll enjoy swapping over all the different attachments to see which one makes you squirm the most. I like it but I don’t love it. I think the build up to what I thought it would and what the reality is are different. I’m still deciding is that my head or my clit deciding that. Plus, it is a lot of work to clean up too. So many crevices where lube can get clogged in – meticulously cleaning is required.

That being said, overall we have enjoyed using the Eroscillator Pro 2 Deluxe. I wouldn’t class it as just a clitoral toy – it’s an all over body toy that can be used on a man as much as woman. A cracking foreplay toy which excites an evening by adding lots of variety.
