Review: Vibease Bluetooth App Controllable Vibrator

A toy that is bluetooth compatible and suitable for hands free fun… Surely the Vibease App Controllable Vibrator was going to create lots of fun?

The packaging the Vibease app controllable vibrator comes in ticks all the right boxes for me – cute, sophisticated and non sex toy related so I can reuse it. Once I removed the outer cardboard sleeve, no one would be non the wiser what comes inside the pretty pinky green box. Vibease sent me the purple version to review but the Vibease app controllable vibrator also is available in a deep cerise colour too. I personally prefer the purple but that’s more to do with most toys coming in pink.

Inside the box you receive not one but two chargers – one with a shorter cable than the other. I personally love this addition and have never seen another brand to do this before. Super handy if you chose to charge your toy in the laptop USB port or maybe you need the cable to stretch so you can hide the toy from prying eyes. Either way it’s a fantastic addition. Also inside the box are instructions and a storage bag.

The Vibease app controllable vibrator has a very simple, easy user face. A power button (which also powers it off) and a mode button. An LED light appears once your toy is powered on. There are 5 different modes to choose from. In practicality though, I find those buttons are nightmare to use. Team it up with lube and it’s not a sexy look trying to fight with a slippery toy.

The Vibease app controllable vibrator ends with a tiny hook – which I hooked onto my pubic bone and positioned it between my labia. It doesn’t hold itself in position well and my pubic mound isn’t the largest so I feel it would definitely be an issue for folk with larger mounds than I.

The toy once fully charged will give three hours of play. I really don’t find this to be accurate. I used it twice maybe 20/30 minutes each time – left it aside as the vibrations don’t overwhelm me and came back to it two weeks later to find it completely dead. Now I know if I did this with an actual battery powered toy, this would have been the outcome but I’ve never came across with a rechargeable toy before. I contacted Vibease and they said I need to charge it really before every use which I won’t be doing as the toy isn’t enough for me to go to all that effort.

*Again, I recharged the toy and left aside for two days after 20 minutes of play – I really timed all this to make sure this way accurate and battery was dead again*

The Vibease app controllable vibrator delivers in my opinion very slight rumbly vibes on lower speeds and if I up the anti and continue to do so, I sound like I’ve bedded a wasp.

It’s loud and definitely not discreet for me to actually feel comfortable to use it public. I managed to try it out in car one day with the hopes of venturing further a field but I just felt like I couldn’t take the chance.

The app makes the Vibease easier to control rather than reaching down and pressing the buttons. The Vibease symbol (a coloured V present on the bottom right side of the screen) allows you to control the vibrations in free play mode. Bubbles appear on screen and you move them to suit the speed and strength of vibrations you require. Also visible on the top right of the screen is a coverage bar which fluctuates if/when the blue tooth connection is affected.

I wouldn’t be one for audio erotica so this was a first for me and in the name of testing a toy thoroughly I downloaded a few books to see how I got on. Now I must admit they are quite realistic – spoken well with sound effects and decent sound effects at that, the Vibease app actually delivers some decent foreplay material. The vibes buzz along softly or quite rough depending on the context of the story. I do find the addition of headphones to listen to the stories helps drown out the noise of the toy itself. To be honest, it makes me quite sad I find the vibrations so pitiful as I truly feel this toy with me a godsend at night when I am wanting to relax and my eyes are too sore to read.

I has issues originally downloading anything onto it – I kept getting download fail or expired token. I just logged out and logged back in and this helped to rectify it. The phone notifies when the app has finished downloading the book. It doesn’t however let you know the length of battery left in the toy which in my opinion would be a welcomed addition. There are lots of free books and if you spot something you want that isn’t free, you simply purchase ‘tokens’ from the Apple or Android store. I do feel the amount of free books on there though – there is something for everyone.

Also pressing pause while in use will stop the audio and the vibrations simultaneously – I love this! More toys should be made with a super quick power off option.

Overall, in theory this is a fantastic toy – so many ways to use it ie. foreplay, alfresco fun.  In practicality, it’s not. I can’t come using it. To be honest, it’s a head fuck toy – keeps building me up but never gets me over the finish line. It’s a shame because the app is easy to use and I genuinely love the idea of using this as a bedtime relaxation toy but it’s not for me. I would however recommend this toy to someone who prefers less powerful, slightly buzzier toys because it’s concept is really awesome.

The Vibease app controllable vibrator was sent to me from Vibease in exchange for an honest and impartial review – this however in no way changes my opinion on the item. What I honestly think, you read. All images of the Vibease app controllable vibrator are taken by myself.

I didn’t like this one very much. It just seemed to be more work than it should be. Good review.

Thanks ❤

It is rather disappointing isn’t it? It has such potential too so it’s a shame x
